What is eFoil racing?
eFoil racing turns electric hydrofoil riding into a measurable competition. Traditional races may use physical courses and buoys. Apex250 uses GPS to create a repeatable virtual challenge that riders can attempt on suitable open water.
The objective is simple: ride a fast, straight outbound section, complete a clear 180° apex turn, and return through the virtual finish. Apex250 automatically detects and times the complete run.
The Apex250 race format
1. Build speed
Ride cleanly and reach the minimum speed while the app builds GPS history.
2. Ride 250 metres
Complete a straight and valid outbound section of at least 250 metres.
3. Turn at the apex
Make a decisive turn of approximately 180° to establish the apex.
4. Race back
Return through the virtual finish. Your total time and performance are recorded automatically.
